Seagram (1970 - 1996)

Oakland rapper Seagram was born in 1970 and raised in East Oakland's 69 Village housing projects. Seagram released his debut album The Dark Roads on Rap-A-Lot Records in 1993. It featured the song The Vill and feratured Gangsta P, Scarface, Ganksta Nip, Willie D and Bushwick Bill. Seagram's second album Reality Check was released in 1995. On the morning of July 31st, 1996, Seagram was shot and killed by an unknown gunman. Seagram was hit while attempting to shield his friend from the gunfire. Seagrams third album was released in 1997 called Souls On Ice featuring Scarface, Yukmouth and Spice 1.
